Are you eligible for the first home owners grant?

To be eligible you need to fulfil these criteria:

You are an permanent resident (or a joint applicant with someone who is an Australian Citizen or permanent resident).
You are over 18 years old
You have never received the First Home Owner Grant before
You are purchasing an existing property, building a new home or purchasing a newly constructed home
You will be living in the home for at least 6 months after purchase
You are not buying an investment property
Your spouse or partner has never received a First Home Owner Grant before
